Hanoi!!!

Woohoo!! I'm writing this blog from an internet cafe in a corner of a street in the Old Quarters of Hanoi. Enjoying my glass of mango juice along with surfing the net.

Reached Hanoi late yesterday night @9pm, and took a minivan to meet up with Dave. Minivan waited for an hour before they gathered enough passengers to make the trip, and it took another hour before we reached our destination. So finally, after 1 and a half year, Dave and I met up in Hanoi again!

Dave is a great host, and brought me to one of the street hawkers to enjoy a kebai sandwich. Very delicious. After that, we went to a local coffee shop to enjoy ice cold beer. We finally arrived at his house at around 1am. Dave is staying in this rented apartment, and while it is very simply furnished, I think it is a place you can called a home.

Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to share right now, but looking forward to taking some great pics. Have brought my tripod as well as a book on basic photography. Maybe will take this as a chance to pick up and improve my photography skills. :)

Right now, I am just spending the time at the internet cafe to do some work. (yes, i'm working again..) After this, planning to go to a massage place to relieve my muscle aches. Then will be going Ha Long Bay tomorrow, follow by Sa Pa. Getting excited thinking about this. :)

Will try not to come online too often, as this trip is supposed to help me relieve the stress from work and rejuvenate myself. :)
